The desk & API · For Brokers & CHAs

Every client IEC, one desk. The commission stays yours.

Run every client's scrips and duty from one book. Keep the client, keep the commission, and let the settlement and the paperwork run on ScripX rails. Or embed a firm quote straight in your own portal: a price, benchmarked and locked for sixty seconds, over one REST call.

The desk

Keep the client. Keep the commission. Move the work.

ScripX is the rail underneath your desk, not a broker on top of it. You run every client IEC from one book. The relationship stays yours, the commission stays yours, and the settlement and paperwork stop being your problem.

The clientThe relationship stays yours

You onboard each client IEC under a signed, revocable mandate and quote them from one desk. ScripX never gets between you and your client. Your book is your book.

The commissionYour arrangement, untouched

ScripX runs on an agency model and never takes title to a scrip, so the commission you earn on a client is yours to keep. What you charge your client is between you and your client.

The railsSettlement and paperwork, handled

Every trade settles atomic DvP, with a GST invoice and a net-realisation statement per trade and a hash-chained audit pack behind it. The reconciliation you used to chase runs itself.

One desk, every IEC

One book fans out to every client you run.

Each client IEC connects its own ICEGATE operation under its own mandate, then quotes and settles from the same desk. You see the whole book in one place, and every trade belongs to the client who made it.

Every client files as themselves

Each IEC connects its own ICEGATE operation under its own signed, revocable mandate. Trades, ledgers, and audit packs stay separate, client by client.

Sell side and buy side, one desk

Sell a client's matured scrips at the Scrip Reference Rate or better, or cover a client's Bill of Entry with scrips instead of cash. The whole book, in one place.

Guard-railed automation, not autopilot on you

Standing rules sell at the rate or better above a floor you set, and cover assessed bills at the cheapest set. Anything outside the guard-rails is held for a client's tap.

The book, always reconciled

Commission tracked, settlements in motion, and a per-trade audit pack, with a full Excel export whenever your own reporting wants the numbers.

The honest comparison

Your book on ScripX rails, or on the grey bazaar.

Client scrips have long changed hands through informal brokers on a phone quote. That market is real and it works for many desks. The difference is what you can prove to a client, and who carries the risk when a trade goes wrong.

The grey bazaarvsScripX
One number in a chat, with no published benchmark to check it against.
Price
Priced by the SRR, published every trading day by scheme and expiry band, and every offer shows its reasons.
Pay or receive on trust, the transfer and the money move on someone's word, one to three days.
Settlement
Atomic DvP, buyer funds lock in a partner-bank virtual account before the scrip moves, and payout fires on ICEGATE confirmation with a UTR, in minutes, same day (T+0).
Counterparty risk is yours, a bad seller's history can follow the scrip to you and your client.
Risk
A failed settlement unwinds and refunds in full the same day, and September 2022 notifications shield a bona-fide transferee from a seller's prior defaults.
No check on the shipping-bill chain or the seller's IEC before you buy.
Provenance
Provenance screening before listing, covering the shipping-bill chain, seller IEC history, KYC and live ledger status.
Invoices and GST treatment are yours to reconstruct at audit time.
Paperwork
Every trade ships a GST invoice and a net-realisation statement, with a per-trade audit pack and full Excel export.
The haggling, the chasing and the reconciliation are all your effort.
Effort
No haggling, the 60-second countdown is the negotiation, and you keep the client and the commission while settlement and paperwork run on ScripX rails.

Your desk keeps the relationship, ScripX carries the rails underneath it. Scrip sale is GST-exempt under HSN 4907. See how ScripX handles compliance and trust.

The quote API

A firm quote, an order, an audit pack. Over REST.

Embed the trade in your own portal. Onboard a client IEC, refresh its ledger, request a firm quote locked for sixty seconds, place the order, and pull the audit pack per trade. One header, JSON in, JSON out.

Firm quotes, an honest clock

Every quote is one firm price, benchmarked to the Scrip Reference Rate, with the reasons shown, and it holds for exactly sixty seconds. When the clock runs out, you request a fresh one. No indicative numbers dressed up as offers.

The agency model, on the wire

ScripX never takes title. An order transfers the scrip seller to buyer on ICEGATE and settles atomic DvP, with the buyer's money locked before the scrip moves and a UTR on payout in minutes, same day (T+0).

Sandbox by default, live on a switch

Every key starts in the sandbox. Run the whole flow, quote to order to audit pack, with nothing binding and no scrip moving, then go live behind an explicit switch. Every response records the environment that produced it.

A request ID on every response

Consistent JSON in and out, stable machine-readable error codes, and a request ID echoed on every call, success or error, so a support conversation starts with a fact, not a guess.

The integration path

Sandbox first.
Live on your signature.

Four steps from first call to a settled trade, and nothing is real until the last one.

01

Build in the sandbox

The sandbox is the default. Request quotes, place orders, and pull an audit pack end to end, with nothing legally binding and no scrip ever moving.

Production access follows an agreement e-signed in the console. Every trade records which environment produced it, so a rehearsal can never be mistaken for a settled trade.

Authentication

Sandbox by default

Every key starts in the sandbox. Live trading sits behind an explicit switch, and every trade records which environment produced it, so a rehearsal is never mistaken for a settled trade.

Consistent JSON envelopes in and out, with stable, machine-readable error codes and a request ID echoed on every response, success or error.

Rate limits

Published per endpoint in the docs. The tightest sit on the endpoints that reach ICEGATE, so the service stays dependable for every desk.

Firm quotes, a real clock

A quote is a firm price that holds for sixty seconds, with the reasons shown. When it lapses, request a fresh one. Nothing indicative is ever presented as an offer to trade.

An audit pack per trade

Pull a hash-chained, tamper-evident audit pack for any settled trade, with the GST invoice and net-realisation statement alongside it.

What it costs

Zero commission and zero processing in early access. After that, 0.40% of face value plus 18% GST, charged only when a trade settles. The full definition lives on the pricing page.

The economics, stated plainly

No invented numbers, no revenue-share you have to decode. The commission you earn on your client is yours. ScripX charges a flat fee, and only when a trade settles.

  • You keep your commission. ScripX runs on an agency model and never takes title, so your arrangement with your client is yours to keep.
  • Zero in early access. No commission and no processing fee from ScripX while early access runs.
  • Then a flat fee. 0.40% of face value plus 18% GST, charged only when a trade settles. No subscriptions, listing fees, or minimums.

Straight answers

What runs under your desk.

Every trade belongs to the client IEC that made it. Client ledgers, invoices, and audit packs stay separate, client by client, trade by trade.

Each ICEGATE operation runs under a signed, revocable Power of Attorney, credentials in a server-side vault, never in a browser. Revoke it at any time.

Every write to ICEGATE follows prepare, review, approve, e-sign, submit. A guard-railed rule can propose, but a person approves before anything is filed.

Settlement is atomic DvP. The buyer's money locks in a partner-bank virtual account before the transfer executes, and payout fires on ICEGATE confirmation by IMPS with a UTR, in minutes, same day (T+0).

The shipping-bill chain, seller IEC history, KYC, and live ledger status are screened before a scrip is listed, so a client is not buying someone else's problem.

A hash-chained, tamper-evident audit trail, a GST invoice and net-realisation statement per trade, and a full Excel export whenever your reporting needs it.
